Objectives:

• Equip students with concepts and language related to speaking about overcoming a financial crisis.

• Sharpen students’ use of reading strategies (information transfer, guessing meaning from context)

• Refresh students’ knowledge of word formation, the passive voice, and phrasal verbs

• Sharpen the students’ ability to listen strategically to authentic conversation

• Sharpen the students’ skills in respecting essay structure, providing smooth transitions between introduction, body and conclusion as well as establishing coherence between paragraphs.
